Duplication : It is the way of duplicating Cds with cd recorders by method called burn.
Replication
As thought Cds & Dvds cannot be replicate only by printers which is connected to computer. If you think millions of music , flm cds are on sale all over the world so there should be obvious alternative way for replication
Replication involves the following processes
1. Step :(Stamper)
Data path will be placed on a special mould by a method called glassmastering from the master cds & dvds which you would like to replicate.
2. Step : (Injection)
Mould will be replaced on a special designed injection machine to make the disc than the data will be transfer by mould on raw material which becomes a transparent disc in injection machine .
3.Step : Metal Plating
The transparent discs which data paths already been transfered in injection machine will be coated silver by electrolyse method and reflective surface will be created for cd & dvd to read the data.
4.Step : Lacquering
Not to have any damage and also to stabilize the metal on the disc surface finally lamination will be applied on discs. Cd will be ready after this stage
5. Step : Colouring
At final , disc surface will be printed by screen printing & discs will be ready for packing.
